Donbas. Over hundred Russian soldiers confirmed killed in action over last two days

Members of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade say the Russian occupying forces have more than a hundred personnel killed over two days of battles in the Donbas.

Reports the press office of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

The statement reads: “According to confirmed reports, the enemy lost more than a hundred soldiers in two days of fierce battles. About 60 members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are in the morgue of the Kalininskyi district of Donetsk (according to the source, no one there counts local militants killed in action).

As reported, the Russian troops launched offensive operation in the vicinity of Avdiivka’s industrial zone on the morning of Jan. 29. Ukrainian soldiers managed to take Russian occupants’ positions and gain tactical advantage at this section of the contact line after two days of battles.

The Ukrainian Army also reportedly incurred losses near Avdiivka.
